Welcome to Fig Leaf Clothier and Sundries!

I often long for some of the more personal services of the past - the milkman, the egg lady, the neighborhood general store that can put it on your account, and the dressmaker. For a reasonable price, the dressmaker would make you the garment you want, tailored to your measurements and using the fabric you picked out for it. Fig Leaf Clothier provides that kind of service. Pick one or more of my designs, give me your measurements, pick a fabric and color, and you will have a high-quality, custom-made garment for a very reasonable price. All garments featured on this site are my own designs, and, although I am often inspired by historical patterns, I always draft my own pattern for each project.

Prices listed are always subject to change depending on the material you request. If you are requesting a significantly greater length or width on an item than is customary (meaning an extra yard or more of fabric), I may or may not charge more to make up for the cost of extra fabric. Once you receive a price quote, you can accept it, reject it, or make adjustments to your request and get another quote. Once you accept the quote, I will begin your garment. Once I receive a check from you, I will send the garment, usually via FedEx. Prices include shipping within the United States, and I am willing to ship abroad for an extra charge.
